As a small design-oriented firm, Boss & Agnew focuses on and is engaged with each individual project from start of design to finish of construction. The process starts by establishing a program, timetable and budget with the client. Then a collaborative effort begins with the architect, consultants and contractor to help guide the client through the decision making process. Boss & Agnew indeed takes a patient and fresh approach to each project, with energy, creativity and ingenuity. Each design solution is unique to each client and is manifested in a home that is inherently a reflection of the Owner’s aspirations, goals and lifestyle. Boss & Agnew partners with CAD Services to execute 2 dimensional construction documents and 3 dimensional computer modeling.

SUSTAINABILITY

In harmony with the shifting attitudes of the built environment, Boss & Agnew Architects are constantly honing their design skills and knowledge to promote cost-conscience green architecture and sustainable design. A constant thread woven into the fabric of their work has is light, open, airy spaces defined by embracing a palette of natural materials such as glass, stone and wood. The basic tenet in their practice is to design a home that is in harmony with the features and resources surrounding the site; and, implement energy, material, and resource efficient strategies to reduce energy loads and to optimize systems: The end result is always a clean happy healthy home. Boss & Agnew support the national AIA challenge of a “Carbon Neutral Design” by 2030; and, the goals of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
